Cultivar selection & breeding

Cultivar/varietal selection is very important as each of the 85 different Moringa oleifera cultivars/varieties express different characteristics. In a global first, we are well advanced in breeding for superior oil yield; which is completely different to current use for leaf or green pod production.

Management practises

Management practises in Moringa production were untill now focussed on small scale, manual production. Commercial production (especially for oil production) however needs to be at a large scale and thus mechanised. We did research in commercial production practises and are the leading experts globally in this regard.

New industry development

Moringa oleifera is a very versatile plant specie with several different uses. We specialise in making the most of this trait, developing the new industries resulting from it and how to use it either seperately or in conjunction with other production practises. We also worked on supply chain management and market intelligence.

Mechanisation

Large scale commercial production must be mechanised and we are world leaders in mechanising harvesting and other production practises.
